Representative Owen Donohoe and family
are committed to serving the community.

Owen Donohoe and his wife enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
Owen Donohoe, 65, has been married for 45 years, has five children and twelve grandchildren. He has been a resident of Kansas since 1989 when he moved here to start his small business, Donohoe & Associates, a medical device company.

Owen's experience as a small business owner and parent of five children has helped him develop leadership skills necessary to meet challenges head-on and find solutions.

Owen's 12 grandchildren (one is not pictured) are his pride and joy. He's working hard to make Kansas a better place for them and all children and families in the district.
“I understand that what makes Kansas great is its citizens,” says Owen. “A thriving economy provides stability for families and communities.”

Formidable experience in leadership
Rep. Donohoe walked the entire course of the recent Shawnee Days parade alongside his grandson. Both are glad that Rep. Donohoe has made a full recovery from heart surgery this year.

“I have worked hard in the Kansas Legislature to bring economic stability to our community and our state,” Owen continues. “I remain committed to strengthening businesses to promote job growth, providing tax relief, and making sure children, families and seniors receive critical services. Even in a challenging economy, we must address the needs of those less fortunate.”

With an impressive background in business and the Kansas Legislature, Owen is well qualified to tackle the tough challenges that Kansas faces, including a serious budget deficit and staggering long-term state debt. In the Legislature, he has served on the Appropriations, Budget, Economic Development & Tourism, Education, Health and Human Services, and Aging and Long Term Care Committees. His demonstrated leadership in exercising fiscal discipline is exactly what Kansas needs now.

Owen's experience in leadership will provide families and businesses in the 39th District the tools they need to prosper. Owen is a fiscal conservative, for limited government, a strong proponent of individual property rights, and pro-life.
